My Story
I understand what it’s like to live with anxiety — not just professionally, but personally.
Eleven years ago, when my son was seriously ill with a life-threatening disease, I began suffering from intense panic attacks. At times, it felt completely out of control. I truly believed I was dying.
Eventually, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands. Through hypnosis for anxiety, I was able to release the fear and panic, and begin to rebuild my life with clarity and calm.
That experience changed everything — and it’s one of the main reasons I now help others do the same.

What happens when you have a panic attack - the science part ?
The Fight, Flight or Freeze reaction is created by our bodies to protect us from danger or pain.
Our bodies are built to withstand short doses of stress, however with long term exposure to stress and prolonged exposure to cortisol and other stress hormones, the immune system is suppressed (as this is one of the things our body does not need in a short term threat situation).
Our memory becomes impaired (grey matter in the hippocampus is reduced), the ageing process speeds up, we are tired as our adrenals are under pressure, there is a tendency towards increased abdominal fat, cholesterol may go up and our brain actually shrinks!

Does hypnosis for anxiety really work?
