What is the difference between regular hypnotherapy and Rapid Transformational Therapy?

RTT DOES SO MUCH MORE THAN HYPNOTHERAPY

In a nutshell - RTT therapy uses hypnotherapy as the vehicle to which you get your understanding. However it uses many more tools in order to give you the depth of understanding you need to let go of deep seated beliefs and behaviours.

Hypnotherapy is a technique by which you are able to access your subconscious mind. When done well - most forms of hypnotherapy give you a chance to offer positive suggestions to your subconscious mind. In solution based hypnotherapy the therapist will focus on the solution not the problem, which can help with a number of issues, but at the end of the day you still have that behaviour or belief set in your subconscious mind because you have not understood it or released it, and hence relapse is more likely.

RTT uses regression to the events that are the root, the cause, the reason behind the presenting issue. This is a vital step towards understanding what is going on at a subconscious level so that you can over come it and move forward.

Some people see regressing therapy as a problem as they believe the client should not have to endure any more trauma, however as an Advanced RTT therapist and trainer, I always assure my clients that we are just reviewing the the event - never reliving - in order to get a clear understanding of what meaning you took away from it so you can clearly understand whats been going on at a deeper level, reason with it from where you are at now and let it go. You act as a detective in your own life, discovering the underlying cause of the issue - and letting it go. Because the power comes in the understanding.

Using the analogy of having a splinter. You don’t just cover it with a plaster do you? No, you remove it and then let it heal. RTT works in the same way.

Or even a weed. If you cover it in soil its going to keep growing. You have to remove it at the root to stop it growing.

We look at the memory, understand the meaning you attached to it, decide whether you still need to attach the same meaning in your present life and help you move into powerful new beliefs that will help you in your life in the present. In this way you are able to heal yourself within the session, allowing you to then focus on the solution based transformation.

The difference between RTT and hypnotherapy is that RTT gives you a clear understanding of exactly how and why you formed the belief or behaviour and as RTT founder Marisa Peer states “understanding is power”. This is at the crux of RTT  - once you understand why you behave in a certain way - you can negotiate with your subconscious mind and release it. It’s like a lightbulb moment!

As well as regression, RTT uses various other powerful tools whilst the client is in hypnosis to ensure that the belief or behaviour or illness is thoroughly dealt with. Alongside principles of NLP and CBT, Marisa has developed some ground-breaking techniques that we - her therapists use with our clients. We do essential inner child work, give the power back to the client by enabling them to dialogue with the person who hurt them. We also use an extremely power tool called Command Cell Therapy - which was created by Marisa following groundbreaking scientific research into cells called Epigenetics. It is now widely accepted and proven that each cell in our body has its own brain and we have the ability through the power of our mind and thoughts to heal and change those cells. I have seen this work many times and it’s absolutely incredible that we have the power to change our reality - literally.

To really give yourself a chance to heal the wound that you have been living with for so long you do need to acknowledge where it came from. Cover up words may do the trick in the short term with regular hypnosis - but we are talking about lasting change. Lasting and impactful therapy that really works in 1-3 sessions. This is a long term solution - so you can move on from what you’ve been through and start focusing on the great life you’ve been waiting for!

And all of this before a beautiful and bespoke transformational recording that is made for you based on all the solutions you are looking for and all the answers you have got throughout your session.

Another big difference that sets RTT apart from regular hypnosis is the transformational recording clients receive after the session. RTT recognises that it’s not just the belief, it’s also in the habit and it take at least 3 weeks (21 days) to change a habit. Brain neurons are effectively re-wired and that connection gets stronger the more it is reinforced so you are certain to get the maximum effect possible from your investment.

RTT on the outside does appear more expensive than regular hypnosis, but when you consider the length of the 2 hour session alongside the preparation work and the fact that you are only having 1-3 session as opposed to 6-8 minimum this cost evens out. Most hypnotherapists require you to go back for sessions over the course of a few months at great cost in time and money. With the busy lifestyles we live this can becaome inconvenient and very costly. RTT provides an effective and powerful solution to this. I’ve had many clients who are happy after just one session after having to deal with their issue for years. after 2 hours they are out of my door smiling, looking 10 years younger, saying “I wish I’d done this years ago”. Gone are the days that you have to keep coming back week in week out to see the same therapist - to go over the same old stuff… this is Marisa’s magic and its real.
